DashGL Splash
I spearheaded the Front End development of DashGL Splash, a project that focused on creating a visually striking landing page, a specialized NFT landing page, ensuring full responsiveness, image optimization for enhanced performance, and maintaining clean, easily understandable code.
What was broken, and why it mattered.
The WebGL graphics library project needed a documentation and marketing website that communicated a technical open-source library to a developer audience. Library documentation sites need to balance discoverability, code example clarity, and a design that signals technical quality to developers evaluating whether to adopt the library.
How I fixed it.
Built the documentation and splash site for the DashGL WebGL library with an interactive demo section showcasing real-time 3D graphics powered by the library inline on the page, a clear getting-started guide, API reference documentation structure, and an example gallery.
Implemented live WebGL demos directly in the page so developers could immediately see the library in action without any setup, reducing the evaluation-to-excitement time to near zero.
Numbers that actually moved.
What I'd do differently.
Developer documentation sites succeed when the documentation itself proves product quality. Writing clear, concise getting-started guides and making the first successful example achievable in under five minutes is the metric that determines whether a developer explores further. Every friction point before the first success is a dropout point.
Suhag Al Amin built the documentation and splash website for the DashGL WebGL graphics library, featuring interactive real-time 3D WebGL demos embedded inline, a getting-started guide, API reference documentation structure, and a developer-focused aesthetic designed to help engineers quickly evaluate and adopt the library in their projects.
A few other things I've shipped.
Have a pilot deadline? Let's talk.
Tell me where you are. I'll tell you, honestly, whether 6-8 weeks is realistic and what the first week looks like.
