Green Ecovents
I spearheaded the development of GreenEcovents, a comprehensive full stack project that serves as an event management web application. This feature-rich platform incorporates custom authentication, role-based access, a multi-layered dashboard, event management functionalities, payment gateway integration, booking management, user feedback, and dynamic content management for administrators.
What was broken, and why it mattered.
The sustainable events platform needed a full-stack web application where event organizers could create, list, and manage eco-friendly events, and attendees could discover, register, and track their participation in green initiatives.
The platform had to communicate its sustainability mission clearly while providing a practical, reliable event management experience. A mission-driven product that fails on basic utility quickly loses the trust required to deliver on its social purpose.
How I fixed it.
Built the full-stack events platform with organizer event creation and management flows, attendee discovery and registration, ticket management, and a sustainability metrics tracker that calculated and displayed the collective environmental impact of attended events.
Implemented a community section for eco-focused event networking and a sustainability-themed design system that embedded the green mission in the product experience rather than just the marketing copy. The impact tracker was the differentiating feature that made the platform feel like a green events tool rather than a generic event listing site.
Numbers that actually moved.
What I'd do differently.
Platform products serving a mission-driven audience need to embed the mission in the product experience, not just the marketing. The sustainability impact tracker was the feature that transformed this from a generic event platform into something that genuinely expressed the green events mission. Products with a purpose need a product feature that proves the purpose.
Suhag Al Amin built a full-stack sustainable events platform where organizers create and manage eco-friendly events and attendees discover, register, and track their personal sustainability impact. The platform includes event management flows, attendee registration, a sustainability impact tracker, and a community networking section built around the green events mission.
A few other things I've shipped.
Have a pilot deadline? Let's talk.
Tell me where you are. I'll tell you, honestly, whether 6-8 weeks is realistic and what the first week looks like.
