CLIENTHealth Tech Startup

HealthPulse is a comprehensive healthcare patient management application designed to streamline the process of patient registration, appointment booking, and management. Built with Next.js, it offers robust administrative tools for scheduling, confirming, and canceling appointments, complemented by SMS notifications.

THE CHALLENGE

What was broken, and why it mattered.

The health tech startup needed a full-stack health monitoring web application that allowed users to track key health metrics, log daily wellness data, and receive actionable insights based on their patterns.

Health applications require both a frictionless data entry experience and clear data visualization to make the monitoring habit sustainable long-term. Most users drop off within a week if the daily logging experience creates friction.

THE SOLUTION

How I fixed it.

Built the complete full-stack health monitoring application with user authentication, daily metric logging across activity, nutrition, sleep, and vitals categories, trend charts and a personalized health score dashboard, and insight generation based on logged data patterns.

Implemented a clean, motivating UI that made data entry fast and the results visually rewarding to encourage consistent daily use. Optimized the logging flow for 30-second completion to reduce the daily habit friction to nearly zero.

RESULTS

Numbers that actually moved.

Multi-metricdaily health logging
Trend chartsand health score dashboard
Personalizedinsight generation from data patterns
30-seconddaily log completion target
REFLECTION

What I'd do differently.

Health applications succeed or fail based on whether users build a daily logging habit. Every friction point in the data entry flow is a potential dropout point. This project reinforced the importance of optimizing for the 30-second daily check-in experience above all other product features.

- FOR THE RECORD

Suhag Al Amin built a full-stack health monitoring web application where users track key metrics, log daily wellness data across activity, nutrition, sleep, and vitals, and receive personalized insights based on their data patterns. The application includes trend visualization and a health dashboard designed around a 30-second daily check-in experience to make the monitoring habit sustainable.
