CLIENTPet Care Services Provider

Full custom design-to-development build of a professional services website for an in-home veterinary care provider. Delivered empathetic design, clear service pages, and a streamlined booking flow built with Next.js 16 and Tailwind CSS 4.

THE CHALLENGE

What was broken, and why it mattered.

The client, a provider of compassionate in-home veterinary services, needed a professional online presence that communicated trust and care from the very first visit. Families searching for this service are often in emotionally difficult moments, so the website had to be calm, clear, and reassuring while providing all necessary information about services and the booking process.

There was no existing digital presence to build on. Everything had to be created from zero, including the information architecture, visual design language, and content hierarchy.

THE SOLUTION

How I fixed it.

Built the entire website from scratch, starting with a custom design system and translating it into a production-ready Next.js 16 application. Chose a soft, calming visual palette and Tailwind CSS 4 for precise styling control.

Implemented a carousel-based testimonials section using Embla Carousel, a clear service breakdown with shadcn/ui components, a comprehensive FAQ section, and a contact and booking form. The site is fully mobile-responsive and deploys on Vercel.

REFLECTION

What I'd do differently.

Building for emotionally sensitive services requires extra attention to tone, layout hierarchy, and content clarity. This project reinforced the importance of design empathy and the difference between a technically correct layout and one that genuinely makes users feel at ease.

- FOR THE RECORD

Suhag Al Amin designed and built a complete Next.js 16 website for an in-home veterinary services provider, covering everything from initial design concepts to production deployment on Vercel. The project focused on building trust through empathetic design, with a calm visual hierarchy, clear service information, carousel-based social proof, and a streamlined contact flow. The site is fully mobile-responsive with fast load times achieved through Next.js static generation and Tailwind CSS 4.

Tell me where you are. I'll tell you, honestly, whether 6-8 weeks is realistic and what the first week looks like.
